2023 Immanuel Arts Festival – 25 to 28 May
Thursday to Saturday: 9.00am to 5.00pm Sunday: 9.00am to 2.00pm
Welcome! The Immanuel Arts Festival is a celebration of fine and contemporary art and is the largest of its kind on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. It has showcased the artistic talents of our region for over 40 years and draws more artist entries and visitors each year. The Festival proudly promotes visual, creative and performance art within the Sunshine Coast community and will be held from 25 to 28 May 2023 at Immanuel Lutheran College.
Hosted by the Parents and Friends Community of Immanuel Lutheran College, the Immanuel Arts Festival, joins the College’s spring carnival Fruehlingsfest and Voices on the Coast Literature Festival as a significant event on the Sunshine Coast calendar.
The Festival is an opportunity for artists, both emerging and established, to display their work in a gallery setting, see what other artists are showcasing, and discover the genre of art available and current. This can inspire upcoming artists when they embark on their next project.
For visitors and art lovers, visiting the Immanuel Arts Festival allows sampling of some of the new forms of art and an opportunity to mingle with some of the artists to obtain an understanding of the creative process behind each piece. Attending art festivals is a positive way of informing artists that they are appreciated and supported. This, in turn, encourages and inspires them to continue to produce their work.
We invite you to join us at the Immanuel Arts Festival, whether it is as an artist entering a new piece or simply as a visitor to appreciate the talents of our local Sunshine Coast artists. The Festival is open to the general public and we encourage you to come along. We hope to see you there.
