With a Fine Arts degree and over 10 years of filmmaking experience at her back, Grace is passionate about bringing visual stories to life – whether it be with a camera or canvas. She has worked on a number of films, documentary and television series, both nationally and internationally, and collaborated with the likes of Ludo Studios (Bluey), the ABC, and PBS International. In recent years, Grace held a key role in curating and coordinating the locally loved ‘Heart of Gold International Film Festival’, located just north in Gympie.
Growing up with a cohort of artists, graphic designers and filmmakers in the family, Grace has been surrounded by art supplies and the smell of paint pigment for as long as she can remember.
Combining her love for storytelling and hand-crafted art practice, Grace began practicing fine art and exhibiting her painted works in 2016 through the Sunshine Coast’s Art School Co., where she currently has the privilege of teaching alongside a team of high-calibre practicing artists.
Bringing with her a unique perspective on art, and a passion for empowering others (young and old!) to keep on creating, Grace continues to create works that explore storytelling, the natural world and our interaction with it. She is looking forward to sharing more insight into her practice and exhibiting artwork alongside the Art School team at Open Studios this year.
