Sandy is the owner of Dry Land Studio, an art studio and creative space at The Old Ambulance, Nambour. Sandy creates in her studio and conducts workshops. The Old Ambulance is a community gallery space that incorporates a visual arts gallery along with a recording studio, tenanted spaces and Black Box theatre. Sandy works as a volunteer gallery assistant at The Old Ambulance.
Sandy is the current Treasurer/Secretary of the Australian Wood Firers United. In 2017 the Australian Woodfire Ceramics Conference was held in Cooroy. Sandy was part of the organising committee for this internationally attended conference. She has also worked as a tutor for the Central Queensland University Arts After Hours programme that includes printmaking and ceramics. In 2018 she facilitated the printmaking workshops
In 2018 she was the guest curator for the Quixotica Art Apace, an exhibition of ceramic works by internationally recognised ceramic artist, Rowley Drysdale, which was held at the Quixotica Art Space Gallery.
