Wendy Hartmann

Wendy Hartmann has had a lifetime passion for art in its many forms. Painting with oils, acrylics and watercolour and with a special love of pastels.

Studying sculpture in her student years with George Virine, whilst attending Brisbane Central Technical Art College inspired her sculpting and textile art, using various mediums. Wendy won the 2016 Outstanding Artist Prize at Immanuel for her Wearable Art entry.

As owner and curator of a gallery in Brisbane City, she spent years promoting and displaying artworks for many artists.

Wendy has judged many Children’s Art Competitions over the years. She is enjoying art and craft group activities here on the Sunshine Coast now she is retired.

It is with great pleasure that she will judge this year’s student art work at the Immanuel Arts Festival.
